Domen Aarhus

A copper-domed building from 1928, originally a power plant, converted into a cultural venue in 2016. The circular main hall hosts concerts, lectures, and exhibitions under a vaulted ceiling. The acoustics weren't designed for music but work surprisingly well for anything acoustic. The architecture draws more visitors than the programming—the bright interior and geometric lines photograph well. Check the calendar before visiting; many days see no public events.
