Domen Aarhus

A transparent geodesic dome on Pier 2, built of cross-laminated wood without nails or screws and installed on the harbour in 2016 as the former Dome of Visions. Aarhus Municipality now runs it with local volunteers as a non-profit café and community house. Inside are sofas, long tables, and a warm greenhouse light whatever the season. Around it, the Pier 2 city gardens turn a stretch of old industrial harbour into raised beds and green space. Check the calendar, since the program shifts with what the community puts on.
