Nature & Parks
Skanseparken

A neighborhood park in Frederiksbjerg where old fortification earthworks create rolling hills. Locals walk dogs, jog the perimeter path, or claim benches for lunch breaks. A playground occupies the northwest corner. The park sees heavy use during spring and summer, then empties when rain starts. No facilities beyond benches and trash cans. The fortifications date from the 1600s; the park layout from the 1920s. Quiet, functional, and entirely unpretentious.
