Marselisborg Palace & Park

The Danish royal family's summer residence, closed to visitors when the flag is up. The surrounding parkland stays open year-round, 129 hectares of maintained forest, rose gardens that bloom from June through September, and a deer park where the animals approach the fence at feeding time. The view over Aarhus Bay explains why the royals chose this spot.
