Aarhus University

A sprawling campus designed by C.F. Møller in the 1930s, where yellow-brick buildings follow the hillside down toward the city. The main lawn hosts students between lectures in warm months. The architecture earned UNESCO recognition for its functionalist design, clean lines, flat roofs, and gardens integrated into building plans. Open to the public year-round. The university lake attracts ducks and the occasional heron. Parking is restricted; arrive by bus 3a or 18.
